Dear Parkette Pals,
This month is shaping up to be a busy one for us here at the shop! Here's a little rundown of events we'll be hosting in May:
- We hope you can join us for Story Time this coming Sunday, May 7th at 11:15 AM. As always, we'll be serving complimentary Rooney's coffee for the grownups. So far, attendees have mostly been in the 1 to 3 years age group, so we pick our books accordingly. We also sing a few songs accompanied by our storyteller Linda's guitar. It's fun!
- We're also hosting Reading Buddies, our first evening social for parents, on Wednesday, May 17th from 7:30 to 9 PM (spots are still available - check out the instagram post for more info on how to join us). We hope this one will be the first of many similar events!
- On Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28th, Little Icons, a portrait photography company that specializes in beautiful, playful, and classic black-and-white portraits of children, will be popping up in the shop. You can learn more about Little Icon's work here, and if you're interested in booking a photo session with them, you can do so here. As newsletter subscribers, you're getting first dibs on this one so make sure to book before we share this one on the 'gram ;)
